Oman utility firm to showcase new projects

The state-owned utility firm of Oman Public Authority for Electricity and Water (PAEW) will be unveiling five new projects at an upcoming expo in Muscat.

The 'Project Oman 2014' is an ideal platform for showcasing the Sultanate's developing market and aims to address the latest project developments across the Sultanate's related infrastructure projects sectors.

The new projects include construction of new pumping station at Ghubrah desalination plant, construction of water transmission line from the plant to Muscat water reservoir, Bawsher to Seeb transmission pipeline in Muscat, water treatment plant of Wadi Dayqah Dam at Mazari and the transmission pipeline from Wadi Dayqah treatment plant to Deem reservoir, reported the Times of Oman.

PAEW will be showcase these projects at the three-day event which kicks off at the Oman International Exhibition Centre on June 3.
