UDC to showcase Pearl-Qatar at Cityscape

Doha, May 20, 2014

United Development Company (UDC), a leading Qatari Shareholding Company and the master developer of The Pearl-Qatar, is set to take part as a Foundation Sponsor in Cityscape Qatar 2014.
The exhibition will run from June 2 to 4 at the Qatar National Convention Centre.
The UDC will showcase the Pearl-Qatar and highlight its position on the investment map regionally and internationally, said a statement.
A variety of properties in different districts at The Pearl-Qatar, a mixed-use island development in Doha, will be presented during the exhibition, with a particular focus on showcasing the recently completed Qanat Quartier and Medina Centrale, two key precincts to be launched later this year.
Badr Al Mir, UDC’s acting chief executive officer, said that the company is once again taking a leading role in the exhibition in order to showcase some of the beautiful properties The Pearl-Qatar has to offer.
“Having participated in Cityscape for many years, we are looking forward to this year’s Cityscape in Qatar,” Al Mir said.
“Cityscape Qatar is the perfect platform for us to connect with the visitors and potential investors by sharing with them The Pearl-Qatar story and its unique offerings and services.”
The UDC’s aim is to showcase the Pearl-Qatar as a world-class mixed use urban development in Qatar and to highlight the role it can play in reinforcing the growing global perception of Qatar as a destination for luxury developments and investments, he added.
The Qatar Real Estate Summit, which will run alongside the exhibition, will feature a presentation about The Pearl-Qatar and its major residential, retail and hospitality characteristics and features, and the Retail Forum, held for the first time at Cityscape Qatar, which will highlight the new developments in Qatar’s retail sector. - TradeArabia News Service
