Farnek wins Etihad’s excellence award

Zurich-based Farnek Total Facilities Management has won the ‘Partnership in Excellence’ award from Etihad Airways for its service performance.
Farnek provides clearning and maintenance service at Etihad Airways Premium Lounges in Abu Dhabi International Airport.
It received the award at the end of a procurement symposium organized by Etihad recently.
Saeed Abusaleh, operations director, Farnek Abu Dhabi, said: “It is an honour indeed to be recognised in this way, especially by a truly world class organisation such as Etihad Airways.”
Adil Al Mulla, Etihad’s vice president – Procurement and Supply Management, gave an overview of the airline’s procurement policy and practices and their reliance on transparency, integrity, accountability and strong governance.
He also highlighted the airline’s adherence to sustainable procurement principles, working with suppliers and partners to seek environmentally and socially responsible products and services that meet its commercial and operational needs. - TradeArabia News Service
