Sobha plans $4bn project in Dubai

Dubai, July 17, 2014

Sobha Developers has announced plans for a $4 billion mixed-use freehold community project in a prime location in Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City, 3 km away from Dubai's iconic Burj Khalifa.

The Sobha Hartland is designed as a complete community and features lifestyle amenities such as freehold villas, mid and high rise apartments, hotels, offices, two international-curriculum schools, a clubhouse, mosques and retail centres, Sobha said.

The development is eight million sq ft, of which 40 per cent is dedicated to green living, featuring sprawling cycling and walking tracks, ideal for families and community living, it said.

Villa sizes will range from 6,259 sq ft to 17,000 sq ft (based on number of bedrooms). Spanning four to six bedrooms each villa will feature contemporary designs with panoramic windows offering breath-taking views of the development. Along with a driver and a maid's room, cinema and gymnasium (6 bed villa only), each villa will have two to four dedicated parking spaces.

The villas will offer a unique L-shaped design that transforms the backyard into a courtyard - offering the perfect blend of privacy, space and comfort. There are also 18 floor plan options available to personalise client's contemporary living space, it said.

The eight-storey garden apartments will reflect classic modernity while maintaining a balance of style and functionality. In line with its community living theme, there are extensive park areas located in between the buildings of approximately 50 metres in length and numerous leisure offerings. - TradeArabia News Service
