Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (Saif Zone) showcased its portfolio as The Big 5 Construct India 2014 that concluded recently at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, India.

Saud Al Mazrouei, director of Saif Zone, said: “Construct India is an important event for us. This is the second time we are participating in Construct India.”

Mazrouei added: “The Big 5 was an excellent venue to showcase our portfolio and enhance our access to the lucrative subcontinent markets. Our team, Raed Bukhathir, deputy commercial director of Saif Zone and Ali Mohamed Al Muthawa, sales officer, met many investors in the construction sector from overseas and all over India.”

The three-day exhibition, which was organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICC) and Ministry of Urban Development, attracted over 4,000 industry professionals  and 150 exhibitors representing 22 countries.

Bukhathir said: “Our participation was successful and the response was quite encouraging. We met a number of serious investors who would like to expand their business to the Saif Zone. The exhibition provided a good platform for us to meet leading businessmen and we shared innovative ideas with them.” – Tradearabia News Service
