the US company.

Hill wins UAE ministry building project

ABU DHABI, October 30, 2014

Hill International, a global leader in managing construction risk, said it has received a Dh9.5-million ($2.6 million) contract from Emirates Real Estate Corporation (Erec) to provide project management services for a UAE ministry building.

Under the 32-month contract, Hill will help manage construction of two buildings and one complex area in Abu Dhabi, UAE: The Erec Building No 35, the Federal Courts Complex and Ministry of Justice Building, which will total 402,000 sq ft when completed.

The key facilities include courtrooms, offices, theatre, gate building, service building, roads, parking spaces and other amenities.

"Erec's Building No 35 will be an important resource for the UAE and a favourable addition to the building landscape of Khalifa City," said Mohammed Al Rais, the senior vice president and managing director (Middle East) for Hill's Project Management Group.

"We look forward to contributing to the success of this prestigious project," he added.

Hill International, with 4,500 professionals in 100 offices worldwide, provides programme management, project management, construction management, construction claims and other consulting services primarily to the buildings, transportation, environmental, energy and industrial markets.

Engineering News-Record magazine recently ranked Hill as the ninth largest construction management firm in the US.-TradeArabia News Service
