DuPont Corian, a leading producer of surfacing material for interior design and architecture, will showcase manufacturing breakthrough, technical innovation and new applications at The Big 5,  an international building and construction show, in Dubai, UAE.

The 2014 edition of the exhibition will run from November 17 to 20 at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Corian has launched a long term initiative called "Endless Evolution" focused on innovation in products, technology and services. This will be showcased in collaboration with Chabros Company, logistics distributor of DuPont Corian for the GCC countries.

The DuPont Corian stand will be focused on five themes: Adding beauty and performance to solid surfaces, Helping people to stay connected, Unbeatable design versatility, Playing with the light, generating emotions and New face for buildings.

DuPont has developed a manufacturing solution called DeepColour Technology enabling the creation of dark solid surfaces which offer deeper, more intense and durable colour, improved wear performance and easier thermoforming, seaming and finishing.

The new dark tones are an exciting new option available for industrial companies, architects, designers and consumers looking for a solid surface characterized by a perfect combination of beauty, functionality and elegance, said Azzam.

DuPont is also developing the combination of DuPont Corian with wireless power: DuPont Corian worksurfaces for home or for public and commercial spaces which elegantly offer the possibility to recharge a smartphone.

The unique thermoforming properties of DuPont Corian techno-surface enable the creation of three dimensional shapes characterized by sinuous and captivating lines.

From small design pieces of an A4 dimension twisted like a piece of paper, to seamless and monolithic curved counters and to curvaceous exterior facades, DuPont Corian solid surface is able to bring the lightness of any complex design to life in a very precise way thanks to its superior formability, a statement said.
