Manara ...... to deliver Wahat Al Muharraq units in June.

Manara sees Bahrain housing project on track

DUBAI, December 7, 2014

Bahrain-based Manara Developments said it has completed 50 per cent of the construction work on the third phase of its 'Wahat Al Muharraq' development project.

One of Manara's major housing projects estimated to cost BD22 million ($58 million), Wahat Al Muharraq located in Qalali in Muharraq will deliver 227 modern housing units to Bahraini families at affordable prices.

Manara had launched the Wahat Al Muharraq during The Gulf Property Show, a boutique showcase for the real estate and property development sectors organised by Bahrain-based Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE).

The company received an overwhelming response for the project at The Gulf Property Show, thus resulting in the sale of all the units in the third phase during the three-day event in Bahrain.

Commenting on the project, managing director Dr Hasan Al Bastaki said Manara places the project delivery and handover timeline at the top of its priorities.

In the first phase of the Wahat Al Muharraq project, all the 30 units were completed and delivered to their owners on time. Now in the second phase, work is on to complete all the 139 units and deliver them to the owners in March.

"As per Manara's delivery schedule, the third phase of Wahat Al Muharraq will be ready for handover in June next year," he stated.

It comprises 58 attached villas that have been designed to encompass the highest architectural and construction standards, of which 41 were Moroccan-inspired designs and 17 modern designed villas, said the statement from Manara.

All the units fall within the range of affordable housing to serve the middle to limited income households, thus not exceeding the BD120,000 ($316,239) mark, added Al Bastaki.-TradeArabia News Service
