Smart city technologies and secure ICT (information and communications technology) solutions will be the focus for an upcoming summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Nispana, a global provider of business intelligence solutions, will host the Smart Provinces Summit scheduled on January 28 and 29 in association with the ITS Arab, Riyadh Techno Valley and Saudi Tabreed.

The summit aims to enable and equip Saudi Arabia’s province authorities, infrastructure project developers, public safety authorities and emergency response authorities with smart cities technologies and secure ICT solutions.

The summit is divided into four main streams, which are Core ICT solutions, Cloud-based cities, Intelligent Transport Systems and Inter-operable and Secure Cyber projects.

It will serve as a platform for stakeholders from government authorities and the building industry in addition to top officials from the planning and urban design directorates to debate and discuss the various opportunities and challenges.
