Lifestyle Developers honoured at Arabian Property Awards
DUBAI, December 19, 2014
Lifestyle Developers, a Saudi Arabia-based real estate developer, has received a ‘Highly Commended’ ranking in the developer category at the Arabian Property Awards, in association with Ernst and Young.
The Arabian Property Awards are part of the long established International Property Awards, with the winners’ logo being recognised as a symbol of excellence throughout the global industry, said a statement.
Lifestyle Developers competed against a number of contenders across the region’s property landscape to earn the coveted top spot.
The award that was presented earlier this month at a high-profile gala of industry peers recognises Lifestyle Developers for its mixed-use affordable yet upscale developments, particularly the well-appointed 568 AlZahra Residences that was handed over to end users in April.
Sultan Sobhi Batterjee, president and founder, Lifestyle Developers, who is also a member of the real estate developers Committee in the Saudi Chamber of Commerce, said: “At Lifestyle Developers, we are continuously pushing to raise the standards of living by building quality communities focused on design and affordability that are accessible to young professionals across the Middle East.
“Industry distinctions such as the Arabian Property Awards 2014 reaffirm our commitment to shaping quality residential projects in the region at large.”
The entries were received from companies in 12 countries across Arabia and winning entrants were presented with either a ‘Highly Commended’ or ‘5-Star’ award.
The five-star winners were then re-judged to select just one from each of the 50 different categories to go forward- to represent Arabia in the 2014-2015 International Property Awards and compete against other winning companies from Europe, Asia Pacific, Canada, the US, Central and South America, the Caribbean, Africa and the UK for the ultimate ‘World’s Best’ honours in each category.
The Awards' judging panel consisted of more than 70 highly respected experts and was chaired by three active members of the House of Lords: Lord Caithness, Lord Best and Lord Courtown.
Stuart Shield, Presidenp of the International Property Awards, said: “Levels of excellence and innovation continue to rise within the property industry year after year, making the attainment of one of these awards increasingly difficult, yet even more valued.” - TradeArabia News Service
