Oman in deal for park project funding

LIWA, Oman, June 11, 2015

Oman government has signed an agreement with two major industry players - Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company (Orpic) and Sohar Aluminum - to set up a public park at a cost of RO400,000 ($1.03 million) in Liwa region.

The deal was signed by Walid bin Yaqoup al Saadi, director general of the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources in the Governorate of North Al Batinah and Dr Hilal bin Abdullah Al Hinai, general manager of Orpic Support Services and Said bin Mohammed al Mas’oudi, CEO of SA, according to a report in Oman Observer.
