Oman floats tenders for road maintenance work

MUSCAT, September 21, 2015

Oman’s Ministry of Transport and Communications has floated eight tenders for the maintenance of roads in several governorates of the sultanate, a report said.

Among these, three tenders were floated for the annual maintenance of paved roads in Dakhiliyah, North Sharqiyah and North Batinah, Muscat Daily said.

The rest of the five tenders were for the maintenance of track roads in North Dakhiliyah, North Batinah, North Sharqiyah, Musandam and Dhahirah.

The ministry has invited major companies, which specialise in road construction works and are registered with the Tender Board, to take part. The last date for submitting the documents is October 26, the report added.
