Four Seasons Abu Dhabi marks safety milestone

ABU DHABI, September 28, 2015

Four Seasons Hotel, which is coming up on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE, said it has achieved a major milestone by completing 15 million safe man hours with no lost time to injuries (LTIs) since the project launch in April 2013.

Faithful+Gould, a subsidiary of the top engineering consultancy Atkins, is providing project management, programme management, construction management and contract administration services for the project.

To celebrate the achievement, the company held a special function where appreciation certificates were awarded to the team members for their invaluable contributions towards this success.

Campbell Gray, the managing director of Faithful+Gould’s (Middle East) said: "This is a great achievement and a special safety milestone for projects of this size to achieve. All our employees are to be commended for their commitment to safety."

"A safe working environment is only possible if there is a commitment from all staff on site. Safety is everybody's responsibility. I’d like to thank all members of our project team who have shown a collective approach and a strong regard for health and safety throughout this project," he added.
