Mohammed ... Wasl seeking new ways to boost customer experience.

Wasl properties launches new retail app

ABU DHABI, October 3, 2015

UAE-based wasl properties has launched a new retail app designed to maximise convenience for customers.

A leading property management organisation in Dubai, wasl said the new tool is aimed at assisting its customers and tenants by providing immediate and easy access to a wealth of information relating to its extensive and growing array of retail offerings.

The app, which is available for both iOS and Android devices, enables users to search for a store by name, category or any wasl project.

They can view its description, opening times and contact information on the screen. Once viewed, the outlet can be stored under a ‘favourites’ option for future ease of access, said the company in its statement.

"Wasl properties is constantly seeking new ways of enhancing the customer experience through the development of innovative solutions that provide quick access and a wealth of options," remarked Zainab Mohammed, the CEO (Property Management and Marketing) at wasl properties.

"The new app does both, allowing customers to speedily and easily find out what is happening at wasl retail facilities, take advantage of special offers, view forthcoming events taking place at wasl malls and learn about the progress of the company’s new retail developments," she stated.

It holds details of every store at the company’s existing malls, which include wasl square, wasl vita, wasl district and wasl trio, as well as those scheduled to open at its under-development dar wasl mall.

According to her, the tool provides directions to the malls and provides handy information about nearby landmarks and facilities, such as RTA Metro stations and ATMs. Other useful functions include a currency exchange, tip calculator, size convertor, and parking locator, said Mohammed.

Wasl properties said its new retail app also supports the Dubai government’s move into the digital age, with the retail sector being one of the most important industries in the emirate needing to adopt the latest technologies.

"As we move ever closer towards Expo 2020, it will be services such as retail that will help underpin Dubai’s growth, so it is vital that we are up to speed with the latest applications,” she added.-TradeArabia News Service
