Saudi construction sector to expand 7.8pc

The Saudi Arabian construction sector is witnessing tremendous growth and is set to expand by 7.8 per cent between 2015 and 2019. 
 
The kingdom has positioned itself as the Middle East’s largest construction market with several projects, many related to social and transport infrastructure, currently underway, said a statement.
 
The sector’s sustained growth, supported by government policies, an expanding population, and economic prosperity, has boosted the demand for construction material, equipments and services in the country, it said.
 
The construction market is set to witness a pickup in project activity as increasing private & public investments keep boosting the project numbers and values.
 
In line with the increasing need for innovative, sustainable and cost-effective building and construction solutions, Saudi Build 2015 will be held from October 26 to 29 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. 
 
The 27th international construction technology and building materials exhibition will host leading companies from across the world to cover all aspects of the construction industry.
 
Saudi Build 2015 will offer a perfect platform to leading regional and international manufacturers, suppliers and dealers of construction solutions to interact directly with real estate developers, building owners, architects, and contractors, among others to showcase their range of products and services, said the statement.
 
Among the display will be the latest in building materials and equipment; architectural finishing products; stone marble and granite products; construction tools and technology; engineering services; infrastructure materials; security and safety systems; and many more benefitting the Middle East’s growing construction industry, it added. - TradeArabia News Service
