SSH wins Kuwait building project contract

KUWAIT, December 2, 2015

SSH, a leading architecture and engineering firm in the region, said it has won a contract from Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) for the design, construction and supervision of a major educational project in Kuwait.

As per the deal, SSH will partner with US-based Perkins Eastman and Soor Engineering Bureau to deliver the technology, business, healthcare and education complex project located in the south of Al Oyoon area in the Jahra Governorate.

The project, which was launched in April, will boast four educational clusters and administration buildings on a built-up area of 230,000 sq m, said the company in a statement.

SSH said its extensive knowledge of the local urban architectural landscape, customs and traditions, expertise in applicable codes and regulations, and progressive education capabilities, will help give shape to the project.-TradeArabia News Service
