MANAMA, December 7, 2015

CBRE, a leading real estate advisory firm, has been appointed as the leasing and marketing consultants by Gulf Electronic Management Systems Company for its commercial office tower in Bahrain International Investment Park (BIIP).

CBRE, the global real estate advisory firm, has been appointed as the exclusive leasing and marketing consultants by Gulf Electronic Management Systems Company (Gems) for its commercial office tower located in Bahrain International Investment Park (BIIP).

The Gems Tower is a well-established commercial office building in a strategic location,” stated Steve Mayes, the director of CBRE Bahrain after signing the deal with Dr Amar Mahmood, the CEO of Gems Company in the presence of Heather Longden, the CBRE Bahrain associate director and Prashant Arolkar, accountant at Gems.

“BIIP benefits from a superb location - easily accessible by air, sea and road, and only 5km from Bahrain International Airport - it is an ideal location for industrial manufacturers and export orientated companies. We are delighted to offer this property as part of our portfolio and look forward to working closely with Gems,” he added.

According to him, the property is ideal for companies of all sizes, and with the addition of micro offices, there are solutions for start-ups and smaller branch offices of international firms.

BIIP is a well-established business park offering attractive incentives for international firms looking to establish industrial operations in Bahrain.

BIIP tenancy benefits include zero tax with a 10 year guarantee; 100 per cent foreign ownership; duty free access to GCC markets and no Bahrainisation restrictions assured for up to five years.

On the deal, Dr Mahmood said: "We are delighted to announce CBRE as our strategic partners for Gems Tower. The building is already a highly sought-after address for both local and international firms. The tower provides world-class facilities, including conference rooms, an auditorium for seminars and meetings, 24 hour security and CCTV, as well as an onsite cafeteria and prayer rooms.”

The appointment marks the second instruction for CBRE at BIIP, who currently acts as the managing and leasing consultants for Bahrain Industrial Oasis, 55,000 sq m of pre-built manufacturing units, owned by Kuwait Finance House.-TradeArabia News Service
