Al Maha rolls out new range of ceramic tiles

JEDDAH, March 9, 2016

Al Maha Ceramics, one of the leading ceramic tile producers in Oman, is showcasing its latest range of designs at the ongoing Big 5 Saudi exhibition.

One of the biggest shows for building materials in the kingdom, The Big 5 Saudi opened on Monday at the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events and will conclude tomorrow (March 10).

Al Maha Ceramics said the Saudi expo offered the company a global platform to display its word-class products.

During the event, Al Maha Ceramics unveiled its "Digiplus" range of ceramic tiles manufactured using contemporary digital printing technology, said a statement from the company.

These tiles, which come in a variety of shades to suit every décor and cater to the needs of its customers, were highly appreciated by the visitors, it added.

Commenting on the show, CEO Arvind Bindra said: "This is our fourth participation at The Big 5 Saudi which has helped us open new business opportunities in Saudi Arabia. Our participation in the exhibition has been extremely fruitful with the company's new range of large format designs in the wall and floor tiles."

"We have displayed our highly attractive and latest range of Digital machine-printed, large-format Spanish and Italian designs. We are confident of getting a better response from the visitors. The new designs are highly appreciated by our existing and potential dealers in Saudi Arabia," remarked Bindra.

According to him, the international trend is towards larger sized ceramic tiles for both walls and floors and Al Maha has been the pioneer in launching digital printed 60 by 60 floor tiles and 30 by 60 wall tiles with dry grinding technology in the GCC.

"The new designs delighted the visitors at The Big 5 Saudi exhibition. We are happy that this new modern product range is highly appreciated by our customers and channel partners," he added.

Al Maha Ceramics, said Bindra, is focused not only on boosting its local market share but also in exporting  products to all other countries in the Middle East.

The participation in the Big 5 will not only help Al Maha improve the services offered to its dealers but also strengthen the position of the company in the region, he added.

Al Maha Ceramics boasts a key manufacturing facility for wall and floor tiles in the Sohar area of Oman besides a distribution network spread across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Lebanon, Jordan and Africa.-TradeArabia News Service
