SSH wins major Diyar Al Muharraq contract

MANAMA, April 12, 2016

SSH, a leading masterplanning, infrastructure, building design and project management firm in the Middle East, said it has been awarded the secondary infrastructure works by Bahraini developer Diyar Al Muharraq at its Assets 13A, 23B and 24, on the northeastern coast of Muharraq Island.

The scope of work includes design and supervision of roads, combined potable water network, sewer, storm water system, facilities for treated sewage effluent, electrical, streetlighting and telecommunications to three assets spread over one million sq m area within the Diyar Al Muharraq development.

Diyar Al Muharraq Island is a reclaimed area that is being planned as an eclectic mix of residential and commercial developments composed of residential villas, investment buildings, community retail centre, mosque and public open spaces.

On the win, Mark Jamieson, the infrastructure director at SSH, said: "This award is a clear vote of confidence in our local capability and our in-depth understanding of the requirements of Bahrain and its ministries."
