MANAMA, August 9, 2016

Diyar Al Muharraq, one of the leading urban developers in Bahrain, welcomed on-site a delegation from the UK-based Prince’s Foundation for Building Community.

The delegation was invited by the Ministry of Housing to inspect the high standards of local development projects in Bahrain.

David Toman, the CEO of the Prince’s Foundation for Building Community, and the rest of the visiting representatives arrived on-site escorted by officials from the Ministry of Housing, and were received by Hisham Almoayed, general manager of Diyar Homes at the Diyar Al Muharraq sales office.

The delegation was taken on a tour and given an overview of the Diyar Al Muharraq history, vision and projects. They also had the opportunity to view first-hand the ‘show’ villas set up for Diyar Homes and Deerat Al Oyoun.

Diyar Homes and the Deerat Al Oyoun projects are embodiments of Diyar Al Muharraq’s vision to offer high quality housing solutions that are affordable for the modern Bahraini family and cater to all their needs in terms of facilities, services and connectivity via a modern transportation network, the statement said.

Diyar Homes is located close to the entrance of Diyar Al Muharraq and Phase 1 of the project comprises 400 housing units, the majority of which have already been handed over to their respective owners. Deerat Al Oyoun is located in the heart of Diyar Al Muharraq on a land area of 1.2 million sq m with housing provisions for Bahrainis who are part of the Ministry of Housing’s Mazaya programme.
