Diyar Al Muharraq, one of the leading urban developers in Bahrain, has announced that the secondary stage of the infrastructural work for its Sarat Residential Project is well under way and nearing completion, in line with the project’s pre-forecasted date.

Giving a progress update, Diyar Al Muharraq said all deep services such as the foul sewer network have been completed.

Also a total of fourteen 11-kV electrical substations that were planned solely for the Sarat Residential Project have been constructed and handed over to the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA), with the electrical plant within the substations also installed, said the Bahraini developer.

The shallow services such as the potable water network and the electrical network are currently being fitted as well, it stated.

Diyar Al Muharraq said the entire road network for the site was being constructed in accordance with the project’s master-plan.

CEO Dr Maher Al Shaer said: "This is an enormously significant moment for Diyar Al Muharraq as it marks another monumental milestone for one of our flagship projects, with each accomplishment in our timeline representing our unwavering vision and a next step forward to achieving our master-plan."
