Bahrain Marina 'in big demand' at Cityscape

DUBAI, September 16, 2017

Bahrain Marina Development Company said its 310,000-sq-m mixed-used development project, Bahrain Marina, garnered a lot of interest among investors and visitors during the Cityscape Global 2017 held recently in Dubai, UAE.

Dubbed as an iconic world-class facility, ‘Bahrain Marina’ stretches along a pristine coastline in the heart of Manama and will be positioned as the kingdom’s prime lifestyle and leisure destination.

Aiming for Phase I completion by 2020; the mixed-used development will include a five-star lifestyle hotel, serviced and freehold apartments, waterfront villas along with a shopping district, fully-integrated family entertainment centre and recreational waterfront space with dining and retail space, said the company in a statement.

A yacht club will be built covering an impressive area with the capacity of berthing a vast number of boats of different sizes.

The participation at top real estate expo was part of the company's strategy to showcase the iconic ‘Bahrain Marina’ project comprising state-of-the-art residential, entertainment, leisure and marina facilities, to both global investors and visitors.

One of the high-profile visitors to the Bahrain Marina Development Company's stand was Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum who was given a presentation on the project by the senior officials, said a top official.

“We are honoured to have had Sheikh Hamdan visit our stand and have the opportunity to showcase Bahrain Marina and highlight the positive impact it will have on the national economy and on job creation,” remarked Abdulrahman Yusuf bin Yusuf Fakhro, the chairman of Bahrain Marina Development Company.
 
CEO Yazan Haddad said: "Our participation at Cityscape global was a crucial step for the project as it is one of the largest real estate exhibitions in the region, bringing together the largest names in the industry, creating investment prospects."
