Al Ain special needs centre work completed

ABU DHABI, December 13, 2017

Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada) has completed all the work at the Dh24 million ($6.5 million) Al Quaa Special Needs Rehabilitation and Care Centre project in Al Ain, UAE, said a report.

The centre is currently being handed over to Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care & Special Needs (ZHO), reported state news agency Wam.

The move is part of Musanada’s efforts to deliver projects that serve the members of the community with special needs and provide the necessary care and support to them to help them fully integrate into society, it added.

Lauding the project, Mohamed Omar Al Hashmi, the buildings acting director at Musanada, said Al Quaa Special Needs Rehabilitation and Care Centre will be an important educational and training source.

"It will serve an important segment of the community in Al Quaa city and the neighbouring areas who require special care and attention, allowing them to engage in the community and showcasing their talents," he added.

Abdul Rahman Al Jaberi, ZHO’s engineering affairs advisor, thanked Musanada for its collaboration with ZHO in opening rehabilitation and care centres across Abu Dhabi, including the Al Quaa centre in Al Ain.
