JLL acted as advisor for Abu Dhabi cultural landmark

ABU DHABI, May 16, 2019

JLL, one of the world’s leading real estate investment advisory firms, said it had acted as an advisor for the development of Qasr Al Watan, the latest cultural attraction in Abu Dhabi.

Qasr Al Watan is a unique cultural landmark housed within the presidential compound in Abu Dhabi.

Qasr Al Watan offers visitors the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the UAE’s governing traditions and values, as well as the role that the emirates continues to play in shaping the future of the nation.

The new landmark also attracts visitors to explore the well-preserved intellectual legacy of the Arab world, and its contributions to various fields of knowledge, said the statement from JLL.

Opened in March, JLL’s project, design and construction managers worked on an array of elements including the visitor car park, public park, security infrastructure, food and beverages (F&B) and retail outlets besides the visitor centre, public library, exhibit installations and a state-of-the-art 3D mapped projection, light and sound show.

Benjamin Jackson, the head of Project Development Services for Middle East and North Africa (Mena) said: "JLL is committed to supporting the UAE’s vision and strategic plan in promoting cross-cultural dialogue and intellectual empowerment across the Middle East."
