HH Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah has ordered the construction of 64 km of internal roads covering some of the major areas in the northern emirate.

Sheikh Hamad was chairing the second meeting of the Fujairah Emirate Development Committee, held yesterday (October 7) to review the emirate’s development plans.

The construction of the internal roads will cover key areas such as Dibba, Al Tawabeen, Dhedna, Wadi Al Sadr, Al Henya, Al Surum, Massafi, Awahla, Wadi Mai, Bulaidah and Al Bathnah.

Sheikh Hamad also reviewed the emirate’s development projects and stressed the importance of building infrastructure and supporting local services, in line with the UAE Vision 2021 and the emirate’s Comprehensive Plan 2030.

The meeting was also attended by Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi.-TradeArabia News Service
