Geberit launches innovative products for Mideast region

DUBAI, March 26, 2020

Geberit Group, a European leader in the field of sanitary products, has launched its new furniture range for Geberit VariForm lay-on washbasins in the region besides a fully integrated and comprehensive solution for the entire bathroom.
The products were unveiled during a key event organised by Geberit Gulf at the Four Seasons Resort Hotel, Jumeirah Beach in Dubai which was attended by leading architects, designers, developers, engineers, project managers, MEP profesionals.
The attendees were given an update on the Geberit products and its new features and additions to the existing product ranges.
The new furniture range for Geberit VariForm lay-on washbasins makes it possible to create customised solutions for the washbasin area.
The slimline, compact laminate panel, which is just 4 mm thick and features a black line around the outside, ties in with the current trend towards minimalist design, said senior officials at the event.
The unobtrusive external design continues on the inside. The drawers are designed without a trap cutout, enabling users to make the best possible use of the interior space.
According to them, the Geberit Option illuminated mirrors or mirror cabinets will complement the VariForm items perfectly.
The Geberit Selnova bathroom series is being expanded significantly. In the case of Selnova Square, the focus is on a modern range of furniture with new colour options and a comprehensive selection of rimless WCs with a timeless design, they stated.
This is in addition to many clever solutions for special requirements, making it very easy and affordable to get an old bathroom to shine in new splendour in all its modern glory, they explained.
Geberit One is a pioneering, fully integrated and comprehensive solution for the entire bathroom. This is made possible by integrating many components behind the wall.
Cleverly combined in a single system, Geberit One has the chance to demonstrate its many benefits – both obvious and hidden. This means greater cleanliness, more space and greater flexibilityin the bathroom. Functional design for a better quality of life.
Geberit Option Plus mirror shows the person standing in front of it and the washbasin area in exactly the right light.
The mirror's lighting concept comprises two central light elements. One light strip illuminates the ceiling and the wall above the mirror. The other light strip illuminates the washbasin area itself.
The indirect lighting perfectly illuminates the person in front of the mirror. If the light is too bright, it can be dimmed by the user using sensors. The mirror has antimist heating which can be activated manually in order to prevent the glass from steaming up after a hot bath or shower.
The Geberit Option Plus mirror will be available in the region from nexty month in following sizes: 40/60/75/90/120 cm.
These illuminated mirrors are available in three lines:
*Option Basic has LED strip lights integrated at the side.
*Option features a broad LED light strip on the upper edge.
*Option Plus uses direct and indirect lighting at the top and bottom to create a special ambiance. It is also dimmable and comes with antimist heating.
The trend towards customisation means that customer demands are growing. When it comes to selecting the right design options, it is often a case of ensuring that individual nuances are perfectly coordinated, said a statement from Geberit.
Actuator plates in new, fashionable metal colours and surfaces are the perfect match for virtually any decor style. The new metal colours include black chrome, red gold and brass; the new surface variants are walnut and concrete look, it added.
The Geberit actuator plates Sigma20 – with round buttons for large and small flush volumes – and Sigma30 – with square flush actuation buttons – are now available in new designs.
In addition to the chrome-plated versions, the design rings and stripes are now also available tone in tone with the plate and the buttons in white and white matt coated as well as black and black matt. The matt versions feature an easy-to-clean coating.
According to Geberit, the latest addition to its CleanLine shower channel range is the CleanLine80 model. The new features include an in-the-channel integrated slope, the anti-finger print coating and the form stamped solid collector profile.
The technical concept, including the water drainage without large hidden areas, the drain in the middle, the easily removable hair comb and the installation set, remains unchanged.
The CleanLine80 is available in two sizes and can be cut to length to suit the situation on site. The new Geberit CleanLine80 is available in three colours, in line with the current tile trends: champagne, black chrome and stainless steel.-TradeArabia News Service
