RMD Kwikform announces regional launch of prop tableform

DUBAI, April 2, 2020

RMD Kwikform, a global leader in formwork, falsework and ground shoring solutions, has announced the launch of its Prop Tableform system for the Middle East and Indian construction markets.

The Prop Tableform shoring system is a quick and versatile solution for multi-storey construction of slabs up to 600mm in thickness.

Designed to improve cycle times for high-rise buildings and other tall commercial projects such as residential developments, hospitals and hotels, Prop Tableform uses only a small number of components to help keep installation and striking times to a minimum, and ensures the system is easy for even unskilled labour to erect and re-position.

The fact that the system remains assembled throughout the entire project duration means Prop Tableform can help speed up construction cycle times considerably.

Plus, with formwork fixed at all times, the damage normally associated with stripping and re-erecting systems is reduced.

Prop Tableform can either be wheeled into position via a multi-purpose trolley or caster wheels, or crane-lifted to higher floors, offering a range of methods for transporting the system on-site.

For contractors wishing to fly the system with a crane, Prop Tableform features single and double-height C-Hooks. This enables the quick and easy lifting of tables to higher floors, allowing two floors of tables to be utilised at the same time.

The system’s high leg capacity also allows larger tables to be constructed, thereby enabling a greater concrete pour area to be covered, further improving construction cycle times for contractors.

In addition, the system’s props require no leg ties. This ensures areas below the soffit are free from clutter and workers can easily move and transport machinery around, helping to optimise on-site health and safety.

Wassim Daher, Chief Engineer for the Middle East & India at RMD Kwikform, said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing our Prop Tableform solution to the Middle East and Indian markets.

"The system is ideally suited for projects that require the construction of slabs across multiple floors, thanks to its simple design and ease of installation," stated Daher.

'This makes it an ideal solution for many upcoming projects in the Middle East and India, with projects in the high-rise, residential, healthcare and leisure markets able to take advantage of the benefits that Prop Tableform can help deliver," he noted.

According to him, Prop Tableform offers contractors the opportunity for improved cycle times, which could result in fewer labour requirements and reduced costs, thus making a big difference to the bottom line.

"At RMD Kwikform, we’re always looking for ways that we can provide efficiency improvements for our customers, no matter what the project is," stated Daher.

"By making our Prop Tableform system available to contractors in the Middle East and India, we are able to offer an enhanced formwork proposition for contractors with a versatile, economical temporary works solution that meets the demands of the region’s construction industry," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
