Shurooq unveils special offer for Sharjah Sustainable City units

Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) has launched flexible and competitive payment plans for its key project, Sharjah Sustainable City, the first fully-sustainable residential community in the emirate.
Sharjah Sustainable City is Shurooq's joint venture with Diamond Developers, a company specialist in developing sustainable environmental projects across the UAE.
The flexible payment plan, comprising a 10% down payment of the property value followed by monthly instalments starting from AED4,236 in addition to zero service charges for the first five years, is aimed at encouraging people to own residential units in the community, said the statement from Shurooq.
Sharjah Sustainable City is a gated community that ensures safety and reassurance to parents by offering children playground and car-free areas, a high standard school, alternative medicine centers, and multiple sporting facilities that can be accessed via walking lanes connected to all houses.
These amenities provide all the comfort required by a modern family, creates a spirit of prosperity and peace of mind, and establishes social bonds between the residents for a bright and sustainable future, it stated.
Each villa is equipped with complimentary state-of-the-art smart home features and energy-saving kitchen appliances conforming to the community’s foundation of modern sustainability, it added.
Sharjah Sustainable City aims to promote the concept of social sustainability by establishing community outreach programs that ensure a safe, healthy, and cultural lifestyle for all its residents who aspire to a better future for themselves and their families, said its CEO Yousif Ahmed Al-Mutawa.
The available offers will allow investors to own property in a growing and competitive environment, which will become a feasible return on investment in the long term, as the full value of the residential units will be paid within the framework of competitive payment plans that extend beyond delivery, he added.
Al Mutawa said Sharjah offers a nurturing environment that supports vital projects in line with the standards of the cities of the future and offers residents with the basics of high quality and luxurious lifestyle.
According to him, construction work was moving at a steady pace on the project, and was being implemented as per the highest global specifications and standards.
Phase One, featuring 280 townhouses with a mix of three-, four- and five-bedroom units, will be delivered by 2021, he stated.
