Bahrain Rera visits Diyar Al Muharraq project sites

MANAMA, November 29, 2020

Diyar Al Muharraq, one of the largest real estate development companies in the Kingdom, recently played host to a delegation from the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Rera) headed by CEO Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.

The Rera team was received by Diyar Al Muharraq Chairman Abdulhakeem Yaqoob AlKhayyat and CEO Engineer Ahmed Ali Alammadi, who then took them on a guided tour within the development.

They visited Diyar as well as Marassi Al Bahrain’s sales offices in addition to the recently delivered Marassi Shores Residences alongside a visit of the sites of Al Naseem and Al Bareh show villas.

Work is in full swing on its Al Bareh freehold residential property, the most spacious among its projects, offering a variety of plots and luxury residential villas available for both Bahrainis aand expats.

Within the Al Bareh projects, there are four different types of villas - Al Bahar 1, Al Bahar 2, Dareen and Suhail, ranging between 484 and 944 sq m. Last September, Diyar Al Muharraq began the gradual handover of these Al Bareh villas to the owners.

The company is also working on Al Naseem, an independent residential community spread over a 328,000 sq m area with breath-taking views of canals and the sea.

Al Naseem comprises two key zones - a gated and a non-gated community- featuring a wide variety of residential villas and apartments located near a number of retail, leisure, and entertainment facilities with an integrated pedestrian-friendly promenade and a 100-berth marina.

Lauding the projects' quality, Shaikh Mohammed said: "We are proud of the superior properties and innovations that Diyar Al Muharraq is presenting to the market."

"In line with our role at Rera to help and elevate the real estate landscape in Bahrain, we look forward to continuing to work closely with Diyar Al Muharraq and provide them with the necessary support for the implementation of the requisite legal framework, and to successfully contributing towards completing both current and future projects in the city," he stated.

Welcoming the Rera team, AlKhayyat said: "This visit reflects the genuine interest and continuous efforts of Rera to support all real estate projects in the kingdom. Therefore, I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to all members of the Rera team for their outstanding work and continuous support to the real estate sector over the past years."

Diyar Al Muharraq, he stated, was keen to collaborate closely with Rera since its establishment in 2017, and contribute to joint endeavours cementing Bahrain as a leading real estate market for local, regional and global investors, as well as enhance the sector's contribution to the National economic growth.

Diyar Al Muharraq was the first company to apply for registration with the Authority for Deerat Al Oyoun, making it the first project to be registered with Rera, he added.

Diyar Al Muharraq is one of the largest integrated cities in the Kingdom, with a focus to preserve Bahraini family values while offering a variety of housing solutions and a luxurious modern lifestyle.

It also offers a unique, balanced mix of residential, commercial, recreational, and healthcare facilities, creating a fully integrated and futuristic model city.-TradeArabia News Service
