CBRE Middle East names new consulting team director

DUBAI, March 8, 2021

Real estate services group CBRE Group has appointed Arash Darabnia as the new director of its growing Real Estate Consulting team in the Middle East.
 
In his new role, Darabnia will be broadening the consulting leadership team operations in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
 
Utilising his broad experience across wide segments of the real estate industry, he will be heading CBRE’s specialist teams, said a statement from the company. 
 
Leveraging his 17+ years of experience advising on real estate projects in the Mena region and globally, Darabnia is expected to strengthen CBRE with a strong, well-established network of regional business contacts, it added. 
 
Welcoming him into the fold, CBRE Middle East Managing Director Nick Maclean said: "Darabnia comes with a great network of clients and will be involved in all aspects of the consulting services, supporting and advising government entities, developers, investors, corporate clients and HNWIs with their real estate projects across the region."
 
"His depth of experience, knowledge and management capabilities will complement our growing team of seasoned executives," he stated. 
 
Michael Heitman, the head of consulting of CBRE Middle East, said: "Darabnia brings a wealth of experience and expertise to CBRE having worked in Real Estate Consulting the Middle East for one and a half decades and will further help to strengthen our presence in the region. It operates in all GCC countries, in addition to Morocco, Egypt and Turkey, and has a regional workforce of over 500.
