Emirates Steel set for big role at Mideast iron and steel event

DUBAI, December 4, 2021

Emirates Steel, a leading integrated steel manufacturer in the Middle East, will be showcasing its wide range of products at the upcoming Middle East Iron and Steel Conference (MEIS 2021) being held in Dubai.
 
It is also a Platinum Sponsor for the three-day event which kicks off on December 6. 
 
The conference brings together steel industry leaders, experts traders and other industry players to discuss market intelligence, trends, challenges, and outlook, and explore new opportunities and potential partnerships regionally and globally. 
 
Through this strategic sponsorship, Emirates Steel demonstrates its commitment towards developing and supporting steel industry through international collaborations. 
 
Omar Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technologies (MoIAT), will deliver a keynote speech during the event, highlighting the opportunities offered by the MEIS this year, and the ministry’s progressive vision to develop the UAE's industrial sector and accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies.
 
Engineer Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi, Group CEO of Arkan and CEO of Emirates Steel will be participating in a panel discussion on ‘The State of the Steel Industry in the GCC Region’. 
 
Discussions will include Middle East market outlook and challenges, drivers of economic growth and steel consumption, market changes, among other strategic topics.  
 
Through its pavilion, Emirates Steel will be showcasing its high-quality product range – used in the construction of numerous high-profile projects in the region and worldwide; and meeting industry leaders and providing insight on the regional steel sector.
