Schneider Electric explores tie-ups with Tecom

Tecom Investments, the developer of knowledge based business parks, hosted a high-level delegation from Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management, to explore areas for cooperation.

Schneider Electric is the global specialist in energy management with operations in more than 100 countries. With over 114,000 employees and sales of more than 18.3 billion euros in 2008, the company focuses on making energy safe, reliable, efficient and green.

“Preliminary talks with the Schneider Electric delegation focused on laying the ground for future collaboration, based on the natural synergies that could be leveraged on by the two organisations,” stated Abdullatif AlMulla, group chief executive officer, Tecom Investments.

“As a leading developer of business parks that are knowledge clusters, Tecom shares common areas of interests with Schneider Electric and we believe this meeting will pave the way for more fruitful partnerships in the future,” added Jean-Pascal Tricoire, president and CEO, Schneider Electric.
