Bahrain March money supply grows 8.5pc

Bahrain’s money supply grew 8.5 per cent year-on-year in March, after a 5.3 per cent increase the previous month, official data has showed.

M3, the broadest measure of money circulation in the Bahraini economy, stood at BD8.75 billion ($23.21 billion) in March compared with BD8.06 billion in the year-earlier month, the central bank said in its monthly report.

Month on month, money supply in Bahrain grew 2.65 per cent.-TradeArabia News Service
