Egypt 350-day T-bills average yield down at 10.43pc

The average yield on Egyptian 350-day treasury bills fell a little to 10.430 per cent at an auction on Thursday from 10.509 per cent at the last auction on October 21.

The central bank said it accepted bids for bills worth EGP 3.5 billion ($608.56 million), the same amount it was seeking.

It accepted bids at rates between 10.34 and 10.47 per cent compared with 10.1-10.55 per cent at the previous auction.

The bills are for issue on November 23 and will mature on November 8, 2011.
