Kuwait money supply hits 18-month high

Kuwait's M2 money supply growth accelerated to an 18-month high of 7.5 per cent year-on-year at the end of July from 4.7 per cent in the previous month, the Gulf country's central bank data showed on Monday.

Bank lending growth slowed down slightly to 2.2 per cent year-on-year in July from a 10-month high of 2.4 per cent seen in the previous month, the data also showed. – Reuters
