Traders lauded for price stability in Bahrain

Bahrain's Industry and Commerce Minister Dr Hassan Fakhro has hailed the role of the traders in achieving price stability in the Kingdom as he visited Manama Central Market, Ramez, Bahrain City Centre and Seef Mall.

Fruits and vegetables trader Redha Al Bustani stressed the availability of fruits and vegetables at reasonable prices. He said prices in Bahrain were very competitive, compared to the neighbouring countries.

Butchers also lauded the ministry's role in providing full support. Bahrain Livestock Company manager Ibrahim Salman stressed that there was sufficient stock in the market.

At Ramez and Carrefour Dr Fakhro was briefed on the new promotional offers.

Seef Mall marketing specialist Fatima Al Bustani said there was an increase in the number of shoppers, while facilities including cinemas and food outlets were witnessing high levels of occupancy.-TradeArabia News Service
