Kamco backs P2BK Forum
Kuwait City

Kamco (the Kipco Asset Management Co) sponsored the ‘Proud 2 be Kuwaiti’ (P2BK) Forum, an annual event designed to promote young business initiatives in Kuwait.

The unique event witnessed the coming together of a dynamic group of budding young entrepreneurs who were able to interact with seasoned business experts such as those from the Kamco team who were present at the Kamco information booth.

“Kamco offers something for everyone - whether it is large institutional investors and high net worth individuals or young business men and women who are looking for assistance with a new business venture,” said executive vice-president, sales, strategic marketing and PR at Kamco, Qais Ibrahim Al Shatti.

“In fact, Kamco has developed a strategic solution that targets small Kuwaiti businesses -  the Shariki Fund is designed to help new start-up Kuwaiti businesses to get the professional help and support they need to try and succeed in a competitive environment.”

“This sponsorship demonstrates Kamco’s commitment to providing a helping hand for Kuwaiti youth who are genuinely interested in pursuing their own business ideas. They are the future of Kuwait and it is important to foster an environment for them that is nurturing as well as practical," Al Shatti added.

P2BK was set up by a group of dedicated professional Kuwaiti individuals with the aim of providing a structured forum for Kuwaiti youth to meet and interact in a professional environment with established companies and thereby enable them to gain greater exposure for the products and services they are hoping to promote. – TradeArabia News Service
