Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), a major aluminium smelter, has sponsored the second Work Ethics Programme Competition held by inJAz Bahrain, an organisation dedicated to prepare young Bahrainis to succeed in the global economy.
“The primary initiative behind the work ethics programme is to prepare young Bahraini students for the labour market on a firm foundation of business ethics and strong values and thereby empower them to be able contributors towards Bahrain’s growth,” said Alba’s chief executive, Ahmed Saleh Al Noaimi.
Al Noaimi made the statement during the prize distribution ceremony of the second Work Ethics Programme Competition at the Alba Club.
“Alba’s commitment to sponsor such initiatives is part of Alba’s participation in the different inJAz Bahrain programme,” said Ahmed Shukri, one of Alba volunteers in inJAz Bahrain programme.
The schools gave their presentations on the work ethics programme assessment. There were four teams representing three secondary girls’ schools, including Alahd Alzaher, Alhoora, and Jidhafs, who came in the first place.
At the end of the ceremony, Al Noaimi joined Naqi in presenting the honouring certificates for the participants and presented the awards for the first place winners.
