The largest schoolbag in the world was unveiled at the Dubai Mall by Lulu Caty, the beautiful animated character with her own cartoon show and range of fashionable stationery.

Measuring three metres in height and two in width, the bag  helped Dubai set another Guinness World Record.

Rainbow Max, Lulu Caty’s Hong Kong registered company, caters to local tastes in school fashion and stationery with its immensely popular Lulu Caty’ line, an aspirational brand for girls.

“Our determination to help the region's children in education inspired us to create the world's largest backpack, and for the world record to be held by the Middle East, as it was truly a combined effort between various teams in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and Kuwait,” stated Rainbow Max’s product development manager, Fadi Sidany.

Originally present in the stationery market, Lulu Caty will launch a collection of bags, sports and lifestyle products for young girls and a whole new range of toys in 2010.-TradeArabia News Service
