SunGard, Dell discuss technology at Gitex

SunGard Higher Education, a global leader in software solutions and technology management for higher institutions, and Dell recently hosted a roundtable discussion for top thinkers on technology for education at the Gitex expo.
The roundtable addressed crucial topics in technology for education, including learning management systems, e-learning initiatives in the Middle East, and high performance clustering.
Mathew Boice, general manager, EMEA, SunGard Higher Education, and Josh Claman, vice president, EMEA, public sector, Dell, hosted the event on October 20.
"Global information technology trends are dictating the pace of progression in higher education today; leading universities and colleges are looking to technology solutions to help create digital learning environments that enable collaboration, provide better administrative services as well as deliver 24/7 access to campus resources," Boice stated.

The Test Centre is a state-of-the-art facility designed to simulate real-world higher education technology environments in the use of integrated and proven applications on a single platform, for institutions of all sizes and types.
SunGard Higher Education provides one of the world’s most widely-used collegiate administrative suites of student, financial aid, human resources, finance, and advancement systems.
