Itec, AIIM ink training deal

Image Technologies (Itec), a provider of electronic document management (EDM) solutions, and US-based Association of Information and Image Management (AIIM) have signed an agreement, under which AIIM will train Itec’s team in consultancy.

AIIM, the global ECM (enterprise content management) community, will also provide them with international certification as well as offer a range of professional training and consultancy services for Itec's clients and prospects in the Middle East.

"We are very excited to have Itec as our training partner for our ECM certificate programme," said Thedra White, ECMs director- global education services at AIIM, a leading non-profit organisation, which helps users understand the challenges associated with managing documents, content, records, and business processes.

“They bring knowledge and years of experience in the application of ECM in the Arab region and an insight to the programme, which will enhance the learning experience of their trainees," she added.

Itec's executive director, Mohamad Ameer Al-Dirini, said: "Itec is proud to obtain the AIIM's authorisation and certification to conduct the AIIM ECM training and certification programme.”
