Bain appoints two Mideast partners

Dubai, April 12, 2011

US-based Bain & Company, a leading global business consultancy firm, has appointed Cyrille Fabre and Emmanuel Yoo as its partners for Middle East operations.

“Appointing two new partners, Cyrille Fabre and Emmanuel Yoo, is an important milestone in our commitment to the region,” said James Hadley, managing director for Bain & Company Middle East.

“We have been working with companies in the region since the mid-90s and have a strong client base and local knowledge.  Reinforcing the Middle East team further strengthens our ability to provide premium-quality services to a much wider range of clients in the region and to help them achieve sustainable growth,” he added.

Cyrille Fabre’s expertise covers public sector and consumer goods & retail. He joined Bain in the Brussels office and has been based in the Middle East for the past 5 years.

Prior to joining Bain, Fabre was a consultant for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and also worked for IBM to set up direct marketing units across the Middle East and Africa. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics, from the Paris-Sorbonne University, a diploma in management studies from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from Insead.

Emmanuel Yoo brings 20 years of consulting experience in the European and Asian banking and insurance sectors.

Yoo's core expertise lies in corporate and business unit strategies, value-based management, process and operations performance improvement, IT strategy and large transformation programmes. He graduated from HEC Paris with a major in finance and marketing and followed the Insead risk management in banking programme.

Jean Marie Pean, chairman of Bain & Company Middle East, said: “The extensive experience our new partners have across various industries such as financial services, public sector and consumer goods and retail will be particularly important as Bain & Company continues to reinforce its presence in the Middle East, a key growth area for our company.”

“I am confident that with our teams’ passion for results, their global capabilities and their expertise, we will help create outstanding success stories for our clients in the Middle East,” Pean concluded. – TradeArabia News Service
