J4B backs career workshop

Jobs4Bahrainis.com, the first private sector initiative dedicated to improving the job prospects of Bahraini nationals, is supporting a specialist careers and training workshop for Bahraini university students and fresh graduates.

Jobs4Bahrainis.com is offering complimentary recruitment services via its portal to participants at the Young Arab Leaders’ (YAL) ‘Steps to Success’ workshop, which will be held from July 3 to 6 at the Bahrain International Circuit.

The workshop is open to talented Bahraini individuals who have proven English language, leadership and teamwork skills. Representatives from leading companies in Bahrain are scheduled to attend the workshop and will assist participants secure rewarding employment by offering challenging two-month internships.

“Young Arab Leaders has a proven track record of delivering initiatives which empower young Arabs to achieve personal and professional success, which is closely aligned with our vision and mission,” said Ali Daylami, business development manager, Jobs4Bahrainis.com.

“Our support for the ‘Steps for Success’ workshop comes at a time when demand for Jobs4Bahrainis.com’s own career development seminars is high, and we believe it is vital for leading organisations in the Kingdom to put their weight behind these important initiatives,” he added.

This is the second time that Jobs4Bahrainis.com has partnered with YAL, an independent not-for-profit organisation focused on education and entrepreneurship, following the success of YAL’s Global Entrepreneurship Week 2010 last November.

Executive manager of YAL Bahrain office Mariam Al Mannai said: “‘Steps to Success’ is one of the many initiatives of the Young Arab Leaders which reflect our mission to provide the Arab youth with channels to tackle the challenges of unemployment through empowering them with the right education and broadening their horizon to become global leaders in their chosen fields.”
