Leading UAE bank Emirates NBD has tied up with the private office of Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum for a major training initiative aimed at furthering the development of UAE youth.

An MoU was signed in this regard by Marwan Juma Bin Beyat, general manager of the private office of Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Suhail Bin Tarraf, general manager Human Resources at Emirates NBD recently.

As per the deal, Emirates NBD will take part in the “Majid Bin Mohammed UAE Nationals Training Initiative” and make use of its expertise to assist the private office by providing training, development and work experience to individuals applying to this initiative and selected by the Private Office, for the training.

'Emirates NBD and the rest of our strategic partners will equip the applicants with the needed professional skills and give them the opportunity to enter different sectors such as banking to complement their educational knowledge with practical skills,' said Bin Beyat.

'This will definitely lead to a productive generation capable of actively participating in the development of the national economy. We hope that this MoU marks the beginning of a long co-operation that benefits and supports our Emirati youth,” he stated.

Suhail Bin Tarraf said the MoU reinforces Emirates NBD’s ambitious Emiratisation strategy which is built on supporting and participating in various initiatives and events across the UAE that help develop and empower young Emiratis.
