As part of the MoU, Qapco will provide leadership training for 20 student council members and Leader’s League members and will also sponsor a one-day self-leadership workshop once a year for up to 100 female students.
Also included in the agreement, Qapco will schedule student visits to its modern petrochemical plant in Mesaieed, provide internship opportunities and will also visit the college to present an awareness forum on the benefits of working in the oil & gas industry, particularly within Qapco.
In return CNA-Q will provide full-time academic programs for Qapco sponsored Qatar National employees, to include academic, theoretical, technical and practical components in the chosen qualification subject.
Dr Al Mulla said: “We are very happy to sign this MoU today as it formally recognizes the great partnership that already exists between Qapco and CNA-Q. For many years we have worked tirelessly together to enhance the learning environment for the students of this esteemed college. We have actively participated and sponsored their Career Fair and attended academic review meetings to develop their curriculum in line with International quality standards. This MoU, will I believe, take this partnership to a new level and provides more and exciting opportunities for the students of CNA-Q and for Qapco employees who wish to study there.” – TradeArabia News Service
