SABB launches graduates programme

Riyadh, December 19, 2013

The Saudi British Bank (SABB), a unit of HSBC, has launched a new development programme for Saudi graduates.

The 'SABB Managers Development Program’ for 2013 initiative comes in line with the bank’s commitment to invest in the development of young Saudi talents, which would allow them to assume senior leadership roles in the future, said the bank in a statement.

Participants will undergo a classroom and practical training, followed by a five-week intensive programme at HSBC’s Business School in London, it stated.

The international part of the training will expose the programme participants to fellow trainees from more than 80 countries, said the statement.

Before the launch of the programme, SABB picked up 18 Saudi graduates who underwent entrance tests, multiple interviews and selection process in Riyadh, London and Washington DC.

Ahmed Alsudais, general manager HR, said: "SABB possesses an extensive track record reflecting its commitment in building and grooming young graduates to assume leadership roles within the bank in the future.” - TradeArabia News Service
