Cap on Dubai school fee increase
Dubai, February 17, 2014
Dubai authorities have decided to cap school fee increases at between 5 and 7 per cent this year, depending on a school’s performance, said a report.
The decision, by the Dubai Executive Council, aims to achieve social and economic goals reflected in the provision of education fees that are acceptable to students and parents, said the Gulf News report.
The move also aims at capping unjustified increases in school fees and providing competitive rates of profitability in the education sector.
