Dubai, February 17, 2014
Exhibitors from the US and Finland are set to debut at the upcoming Gulf Educational Supplies and Solutions (Gess) exhibition in Dubai.
The exhibition, which will run from March 4 to 6 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, will also feature the International Society for Technology in Education, a leading non-profit organisation serving educators and education leaders, having signed a partnership to empower learners, said a statement.
The US and Finland will set up country pavilions at the exhibition with nine and six companies respectively to offer a variety of education-related services and solutions, it said.
Meanwhile, China, Germany, Korea and the UK are set to increase their presence by an average of 40 per cent in terms of new exhibitors, compared to the previous year, said the statement.
Matt Thompson, project director, F&E Group, the organisers of the event, said: “The Gess is a platform where various education stakeholders can exchange ideas and insights as well as business that will address the growing needs for educational supplies and solutions in the Gulf region.
“The US and Finland have some of the most progressive education systems in the world and their interaction with local education stakeholders can lead to many potentially significant exchanges and benefits for the local education system in the UAE and the rest of the Gulf.” - TradeArabia News Service
