Saudi labour services to go online

Riyadh, May 10, 2014

The Saudi Ministry of Labour is planning to shift all its services online in the coming days, including the paperwork for domestic workers, said a report.

It also includes the early warnings for companies from the ministry once it decides to move into the Red Zone of the Nitaqat System, reported the Arab News.

The customer services section of the ministry has been receiving 110,000 complaints every month from employers through its call center and the officials respond to queries in 12 seconds, the report stated.

The ministry has completed 11 million e-services requests over the past six months, it added.

"We are trying our best to improve the performance level of our services with ease of access ... that satisfies both customers and the ministry," Ziyad Al-Saegh, undersecretary for customer services and worker relations at the ministry, was quoted as saying in the report.
