Boom time for UAE education sector

The education sector in UAE is witnessing rapid growth over the past few years mainly driven by the growing interest from both the government and private players in the 'booming' industry, said a report.

The role of private sector is increasing in the country due to the rising demand by expatriates for quality education, which can be met through private schools and colleges, stated the report by Bharat Book Bureau, a Mumbai-based research company.

The latest report "UAE Education Market Outlook 2018" covers exhaustive analysis of the education scenario in all seven emirates. The detailed market forecast of student enrollment, number of schools and academic staffs till 2017-18 has also been covered in the report.

According to the report, the government is also taking measures to promote public education in the UAE as part of its drive to impart education to all the nationals.

This need and demand for education in UAE is expected to sustain its dominance in the coming years, the report added.

The Bharat Book Bureau study also covers analysis on the potential requirement of kindergarten, elementary, intermediate, and secondary education segments at public level to accommodate anticipated student enrollment during the forecast period.

It also delves into the aspect of number of public schools, public schools academic staffs, and public schools administrative & technical staffs required during academic year 2013-14 to 2017-18 for the same.

The company said the forecast is conducted on the basis of co-relation and judgmental analysis, which is carried out after carefully studying key factors including industrial growth, drivers and challenges.

In order to assess the higher education scenario of UAE, the report also discusses the current and future scenario of student enrollment, number of schools and academic staffs till 2017-18.
